Volunteer Opportunity: Clean-Up Day at the Cylburn Arboretum

Date: January 26 and 27 Time: 8 AM to 4 PM Please Bring: work boots, garden gloves, and warm clothes but be prepared to “warm up” as you work. *Lunch will be provided Project 1- Consists of cleaning up the flowering shrub walk. This will include the digging out of substantial vines, removal of brambles, and the potential addition of woodchips in grubbed out areas. The entire shrubwalk is around 50 yards long and should allow for ample work culminating in a huge path of forsythia to be cut down and cleaned out.


Project 2- Consists of similar work in the parking lot. This portion of the project will help with our future plans to renovate the parking lot planting. To RSVP for this volunteer opportunity, please email brent.fig@cylburn.org
