Civil Engineer / Site Planner

Join a creative, collaborative team of designers in Hunt Valley, Maryland. Site Resources is an award-winning multidisciplinary firm with a diverse portfolio including higher education, parks and recreation, K–12 schools, healthcare, and other public and private projects.


Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with civil engineers, landscape architects, and designers on a variety of site development projects.

  • Lead projects from concept through construction while managing schedules, budgets, and quality.

  • Prepare and oversee site/civil construction documents, specifications, and permit plans.

  • Design grading, stormwater management, erosion and sediment control, and utility systems in accordance with Maryland regulations.

  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to client relationships and business development.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Landscape Architecture, or a related field.

  • 5+ years of experience with a civil engineering or multidisciplinary design firm preferred.

  • Professional licensure or active pursuit thereof.

  • Experience with Maryland stormwater management and erosion and sediment control design, permitting and land development regulations.

  • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D.

  • Strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
