Maryland-Potomac ASLA Mentorship Program: Call for Mentors NOW OPEN!

A huge thank you to everyone who participated in the first cycle of the Maryland–Potomac ASLA Mentorship Program this past Spring! Your willingness to share your time and experiences made a meaningful impact on our future landscape architects.

We’re excited to announce that the 2025–2026 Mentorship Cycle is right around the corner—and we’re looking for dedicated mentors! Whether you’ve mentored before or are considering it for the first time, this is a fantastic opportunity to:

• Connect one-on-one with a local university student

• Engage with emerging talent entering the field

• Share your insights to inspire the next generation of professionals

• Develop and strengthen your leadership skills

• Give back to the landscape architecture profession

Once signed up, you will be matched with a student mentee based on your shared background and interests. You’ll receive a program outline to help frame expectations and guide your mentorship journey—but the structure and goals are ultimately up to you and your mentee.

Mentor registration closes Friday, August 29.
