Landscape Architecture. Our Future. Six Words.

Six words. One sentence. Think beyond today.

The future of landscape architecture will be shaped by choices we make today. But this exercise asks us to look beyond the next year, the next plan, and even the next generation.

As ASLA begins imagining the next chapter of its strategy, we're inviting members to think boldly and expansively about the future of the profession. What should landscape architecture aspire to become? What should we make possible for the landscape architects who come after us? What future should ASLA help our profession create?

Capture that future in one sentence of just six words.

Don't stop at the first answer that comes to mind. Look past today's challenges, programs, and priorities. Imagine what could be true far into the future. Consider what we might begin building today knowing we may never see it fully completed ourselves.
