Summary

This position provides field and laboratory conservation services for cultural resources in need of historic preservation efforts as identified in the Cyclic, Repair/Rehabilitation, and Line Item Construction 5-year plans and the Cultural Resource Information System (CRIS) for Historic Structures.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain database with condition assessment information for regional historic structures/monuments

  • Provide project guidance for in-house and contracted projects.

  • Inspect monuments and historic structures; prepare cyclic maintenance guidance.

  • Develop preservation solutions, specifications, and conservation techniques.

Create written technical reports on findings.


Travel Required: Occasional travel – You may be expected to travel for this position.
