Mahan Rykiel Associates is currently seeking a Landscape Designer/Landscape Architect with 2+ years of experience who can work collaboratively with team members through all aspects of a project’s development. Working directly with our Design Principals and Project Landscape Architects, the candidate will be responsible for contributing to our project work that includes design, illustration, modeling, and construction documentation. What are We Looking For?
Experience & Education:
2+ Years of Full Time Professional Experience
Working Towards Licensure
Accredited Degree in Landscape Architecture, Architecture, Urban Design or Related Field
Professional Skills:
Team player, passionate, and self-motivated professional
Strong sense of design and detailing; experience in rendering, modeling, design and construction documentation with quality-built projects
Collaborative thinking and design coordination with internal and external teams
Ability to work on multiple assignments and balancing project responsibilities
Technical Skills & Expertise
Excellent graphic (computer and/or hand), verbal, and written communication skills
Excellent creative thinking and design ability
Demonstrated experience in the development of construction drawings
Proficient in AutoCAD
Revit experience desired
Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator)
Proficient in 3D Modeling (Rhino, SketchUp, Lumion and Enscape)
Planting knowledge and site grading experience desired
