The Landscape Architecture Foundation (LAF) is now accepting applications for the ASLA Council of Fellows Scholarships. Up to two $4,000 scholarships are available to undergraduate students studying landscape architecture at Landscape Architecture Accreditation Board-accredited programs. Scholarships are awarded based on financial need, with at least one of the scholarships going to a student from an underrepresented population.
In addition to the financial award, each recipient will also receive a one-year student membership in ASLA, general registration fees for the ASLA Annual Meeting and EXPO in Boston, November 15 - 18, 2012, and a travel stipend to attend the meeting. Scholarship recipients are expected to attend the ASLA Annual Meeting to be recognized for their awards. The deadline for submission is February 15, 2013. Visit the LAF website for General Submission Guidelines and scholarship requirements as well as the ASLA Council of Fellows Scholarships page for added requirements. LAF also offers eight other scholarships and fellowships with awards from $2,000 to $5,000. Undergraduate and graduate students who display superior performance or have unmet financial needs may qualify.
