Job Posting: Jonathan Ceci Landscape Architects Seeks Designer

Jonathan Ceci Landscape Architects is a rigorous design practice with a body of work ranging from high garden design to educational campuses and public landscapes. Our studio is located in Baltimore, but our projects are spread out across the United States.

We are seeking a talented and driven Designer to join our team.


Qualified candidates will have:

  • 5 to 7 years (min) of experience working in a design-focused Landscape Architecture office

  • A solid portfolio demonstrating strong design capabilities

  • A good work ethic

  • A good grasp of technical aspects of practice (grading, detailing, horticulture, CA, etc)

  • A breadth of graphic communication (from illustrative to technical drawing packages)

  • The ability to shepherd design ideas from Master Planning and Conceptual Design through Construction

  • Effective verbal and written communication

  • Proficiency in CAD-based software for drafting, modeling, as well as graphics apps (Adobe Creative Suite)

  • A Bachelors or Masters degree in Landscape Architecture or Architecture

  • US citizenship or an active work visa

  • The ability to travel out of state periodically to visit project sites

Additional desirable qualifications include:

  • Knowledge of Revit, Rhino, Lumion, and other rendering apps

  • Registration as a Landscape Architect

  • SITES AP, LEED AP certification

Candidates will be capable of contributing to the design process in a collaborative and collegial setting. We strongly believe that good design ideas emerge from all quarters and that it takes a team to achieve exceptional built work. On every project, we work to distill a sense of place that resonates with regional landscape character, ecology, cultural context and the unique personality and needs of our clients.
