Floura Teeter seeks Landscape Architect/Landscape Designer

Baltimore, MD (Hybrid/Flex Work Environment)

Floura Teeter Landscape Architects, Inc. is seeking a Landscape Architect/Landscape Designer to join our innovative, collaborative team and contribute to the design, development, and delivery of projects of the highest quality.

The ideal candidate is a creative problem-solver with strong design sensibility, technical proficiency, and excellent communication skills. This individual will have experience in multiple project types— urban design, institutional, campus, commercial, housing, transportation and transit and environmental design—and will thrive working on projects at all stages, from concept through construction.

Responsibilities

· Contribute to the design and production of landscape architectural documents, from conceptual design through construction detailing.

· Apply technical expertise in site design, ecology, grading/drainage, plant materials, construction materials, and construction administration.

· Coordinate with interdisciplinary teams and ensure design integrity and graphic consistency.

· Mentor junior staff and foster a collaborative studio environment.

· Lead preparation of construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates.

· Provide construction administration services and perform QA/QC reviews.

· Participate in business development activities and represent the firm at industry events.

Qualifications

· Accredited degree in Landscape Architecture (Landscape Architect license preferred).

· 3–5 years of professional experience in landscape architecture, urban design, or environmental design.

· Strong design and technical skills with demonstrated experience in construction documents, specifications and construction administration.

· Proficiency in AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Microsoft Office, and SketchUp (knowledge of MicroStation, REVIT, Miro, GIS and ArcMap is a plus).

· Excellent time management, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.

· Ability to work effectively in both multidisciplinary and landscape architecture–led teams
