About EnviroCollab
EnviroCollab (EC) is a woman-owned, mission-driven landscape architecture and urban planning firm founded in 2018 as a response to inequities in the field and as a challenge to social injustices both created by and perpetuated through the built environment. Prioritizing inclusive engagement and design strategies that first and foremost serve marginalized communities, EnviroCollab merges practices of social design and restorative urban design to meet people where they are and co-create cultural sustainability and environmental resilience. We view landscape architecture as a tool through which to elevate social impact and design justice, and we see it as fundamentally community-grounded.
Â
Firm Culture
A successful candidate will be eager to:
Engage in a highly collaborative work environment, in which there is no ‘sole’ designer on any given project; it takes a team to create the best process and products for our projects and clients.
Prioritize a culture of care, empathy, communication, compassion, respect, and transparency in our interactions with one another.
Elevate the tenets of inclusion, equity, and diversity across the breadth of our projects and when engaging with our project teams, stakeholders and user groups, and partners/collaborators.
Be self-driven and compelled to think critically and creatively about every aspect of our work; be willing to listen and learn from one another, our clients, and the community, always.
Maintain flexibility and adaptability relative to our work environment and project needs. As a small collaborative design studio, we pride ourselves on being nimble and responsive to each other, our clients, and collaborators.
If interested (and once eligible with minimum 3 years’ experience in the field), participate in transition to a Worker-Owner following 3 years of full-time employment or 4 years of part-time employment with EnviroCollab.
