Dear friends,
One of the interesting things the trustees do periodically is vote on changes to policy statements that have been developed by the Policy Committee. I have had the good fortune of serving on the Policy Committee for the last three years and find the work fascinating. I encourage each of you to visit the ASLA web site at www.asla.org and read some of the policy statements that interest you the most. As we choose which policies to update, or introduce, this year I would like to solicit input and feedback from you throughout the process. It is important to clearly state our organization's position on policies that impact professional practice and advocacy. Thanks, as always, for your participation and feedback.
