Montgomery County Planning Department seeking Landscape Architect

  • 1 min read

The Montgomery County Planning Department is currently accepting applicants for a Landscape Architect to serve on the Silver Spring Design Advisory Panel (SSDAP).

The SSDAP provides guidance for building projects going through the entitlement process to improve the quality of architecture, landscape architecture, and public spaces and raise the level of design excellence in the downtown. This is a great way to get involved in the local community, shape development in downtown Silver Spring, and interact with other design professionals and developers. Planning Staff will review all applications and recommend candidates to the Planning Board for appointment. The panel meets once-a-month as needed depending on the pace of development and quantity of projects in Downtown Silver Spring.

Additional information, including application materials and contact information, is available here.
