2017 Annual Meeting
For every $1 you and I spend on dues to the Maryland Chapter, we get $1.20 in services back to the profession locally, an unprecedented 20 percent return on investment. These services, some of which you may not know we provide, include a lobbyist to annually to represent our interests annually, particular those involving rights to practice and licensure. They also include organizing the annual awards recognition and gala, the AIA and Victor Stanley Lecture Series, producing our annual magazine, Embark, and hosting other opportunities solely for the education and fellowship of our members locally.
That's why I'm hoping you'll join more than 365 members locally and 15,000 members of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) nationally and immediately gain member-only access to valuable resources, tools, and information to help you invest in your career—only found on the ASLA website. You will be instantly linked to your local chapter activities and given a multitude of opportunities to connect with your peers.
The ASLA Public Relations and Communications department reaches millions of people each year—advancing the awareness and appreciation of the profession and ASLA Government Affairs works tirelessly to ensure the profession is at the forefront with policymakers. These ongoing efforts strengthen the profession and, in turn, your career.
Joining ASLA will give you access to the latest news and trends in the industry—including the award-winning Landscape Architecture Magazine. Specialized options for you to connect with members are also offered through 18 Professional Practice Networks (PPNs) only found on the ASLA website.
